Nigerian DJ, Pat Lax, is nothing less than extraordinary. He is apart of a rising powerhouse in the New York City music scene and he’s just getting started. Born in Brooklyn and raised in Staten Island, DJ Pat Lax was motivated to begin his career as a DJ after doing many huge festivals in NYC. He decided to dedicate his time to learning how to DJ and produce, which opened doors for him that he couldn’t imagine. As a DJ, Pat Lax has made a distinct name for himself. He did a handful of events and music festivals such as Afrocarnival at Knockdown Center alongside DJ Tunez Saved By The DJ Music Festival with Drewski, DJ Madout & True Blends.

He also DJ'd a private event for one of the hottest rappers in his generation Lil Mosey’s 21st birthday party. And also regularly DJ's for Michael Rainey JR a reality TV star featured on the show POWER.

Hot 97’s ‘Who’s Next’ showcase and many more. Pat Lax even created his own party series, ‘PARTYHOUZE’, which brought out a CROWDS of people for every event. Within all his achievements, as of late he’s decided to focus more on production. Pat Lax describes his overall sound as Afrobeat and Afro-Hip Hop, a new wave that’s brewing worldwide. 

Pat Lax’s ultimate goal is not only to become an international DJ and producer but to highlight those in the African diaspora who are extremely talented and want to become someone great. Being the natural born hustler that he is, Pat Lax understands that the journey ahead of him is tough but he's willing to take those steps forward to achieve everything he sets his mind on because he's worthy of it.
